Zase

About Zase

Zase is a brand for free tools that run entirely in your browser, not just one product. The first Zase product is Developer Toolkit by Zase, a growing collection of everyday developer tools: JSON and YAML formatters, a JWT decoder and signer, a regex tester, hash and password generators, a QR code generator, color converters, and many more. Every tool is free, and every tool runs entirely in your browser. More Zase products are on the way.

Why these tools exist

Developers paste code, tokens, and data into random online tools every day, and most of those sites send whatever you paste to a server. Zase tools never do that. The formatting, decoding, hashing, and generating all happen locally on your device, in this tab, so sensitive input never travels anywhere.

Privacy by design

No accounts, no analytics, no tracking, and no servers collecting your input. That is not a policy bolted on afterwards: it is how the tools are built, because the work never leaves the browser in the first place. The full details are on the privacy page.

Open source

The toolkit is open source, written in plain HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with no build step and no dependencies at runtime. You can read every line, report issues, or suggest a new tool on GitHub.

On this website

Nothing to install: open a tool and work. Handy when you are on a borrowed machine, in a locked-down environment, or just need one quick conversion.

Who builds it

Zase is built and maintained by Hamza Shabbir, a software engineer who got tired of pasting JSON into websites he did not trust, and decided to make the tools he wanted to use himself.
