Privacy Policy
The short version: Zase tools run entirely in your browser.
Nothing you type, paste, or generate is collected, transmitted,
or shared. This page explains exactly what that means for this
website and for the Chrome extension.

What we do not do
- No analytics
- No tracking
- No advertising
- No uploads: no servers receive your tool input
- No accounts and no sign up
- No cookies set by this site
- No remote code: every script is served with the page
- No selling data: nothing is collected, so there is nothing to sell
What stays on your device
Your theme choice, settings, favorites, recents, and
preferences saved by some tools (for example, colors you
picked in the color tools) are stored in your browser's
local storage, on your device only. They never leave the
device, and you can delete them at any time by clearing
the site's data in your browser settings.
Sensitive tools, such as the JWT Decoder, the JWT Signer,
the Hash Generator, the Password Generator, and AES
Encrypt / Decrypt, do not save their input at all.
Anything you paste into them is gone when you close
the tab.
The Chrome extension
The Developer Toolkit by Zase extension follows the same
rule: it collects nothing. It requests only four
permissions, each for a visible feature:
- storage: saves your preferences locally, such as theme, favorites, and recents.
- system.display: opens the extension window centered on your active screen.
- contextMenus: adds right-click entries to open the toolkit or send selected text to a tool, locally.
- sidePanel: lets the toolkit open docked in Chrome's Side Panel when you ask for it.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated text will appear on
this page, with a new Last updated date at the top. The
short version above is the heart of it: the tools run
locally, and your data is not collected.
