About this Favicon Generator

The Favicon Generator builds a complete favicon set from one image or a piece of text: the PNG sizes browsers and phones expect, plus a packed favicon.ico. Upload a logo once and download everything a site needs instead of resizing by hand in an image editor.

How to use the Favicon Generator

  1. Drop in an image, or type a letter or emoji and pick colors.
  2. Preview the generated sizes to check the small ones stay readable.
  3. Download the set and link the files from your page head.

Good to know

  • The 16 pixel size is the real test: simple shapes and strong contrast survive, detail does not.
  • The pack includes the apple touch size, so home screen bookmarks look right on phones.
  • Generating from text is a fast way to ship a clean placeholder icon for a new project.
