JSONPath Tester
Query a JSON document with a JSONPath expression and see every match.
Also available in the Chrome extension Every Zase tool also lives in the free Developer Toolkit by Zase extension: fully offline, in a window or the side panel, one keyboard shortcut away.
About this JSONPath Tester
The JSONPath Tester runs JSONPath expressions against a JSON document and lists every match with its concrete path. Test a query here before you hard-code it into an API client, a test assertion or a data pipeline, and see exactly which values it pulls out.
How to use the JSONPath Tester
- Paste the JSON document into the input panel.
- Write a JSONPath expression: child keys, indexes, wildcards, filters and recursive descent are supported.
- Read the matched values with their full paths, then copy values or paths.
Good to know
- Filters such as [?(@.price > 10)] let you select array items by field value, not just position.
- Recursive descent (..) finds a key at any depth, which suits payloads whose shape varies.
- Seeing the concrete path of each match is the fastest way to debug a query that returns too much or nothing.
