About this CSS Gradient Generator

The CSS Gradient Generator lets you design linear and radial gradients visually: add color stops, drag them into place, rotate the angle, then copy production-ready CSS. It replaces the guess, paste, refresh loop with a live preview of the exact background your stylesheet will get.

How to use the CSS Gradient Generator

  1. Pick linear or radial and set the direction or shape.
  2. Add and adjust color stops until the preview matches your design.
  3. Copy the generated background CSS into your stylesheet.

Good to know

  • The hero and buttons on this very site use the same indigo to violet gradient family.
  • Two stops are enough for most interfaces; extra stops are for deliberate color journeys, not decoration.
  • Copy the fallback background color too, for the rare client that cannot paint gradients.
