About this Lorem Ipsum
The Lorem Ipsum Generator creates placeholder text in classic Latin or from your own custom word list, by paragraph, sentence or word count. Use it to fill a layout before the real copy exists, so design decisions happen with realistic text volume.
How to use the Lorem Ipsum
- Pick paragraphs, sentences or words and set the amount.
- Optionally supply your own words for a themed filler.
- Copy the generated text into your mockup or template.
Good to know
- Placeholder text reveals layout problems early: overflow, orphan headings and cramped cards.
- Custom word lists make wireframes feel closer to the real product for client reviews.
- Generate a little more than you need; real copy is rarely shorter than the placeholder.
