About this Diff Checker
The Diff Checker compares two texts side by side, line by line, with word-level highlighting inside the lines that changed. Paste the before and after of a config, a contract clause or a block of code and see exactly what moved.
How to use the Diff Checker
- Paste the original text on the left and the new text on the right.
- Read the highlighted changes; changed words are marked inside changed lines.
- Use the options to ignore whitespace or case when those differences do not matter.
Good to know
- Word-level highlights stop you re-reading two long paragraphs to find one changed number.
- Ignoring whitespace is the right call when one side was reformatted and the other was not.
- Config and environment files are the classic use: one changed line in two hundred is easy to miss by eye.
