About this Text Utilities
Text Utilities is the odds and ends drawer for text: word and character counts, sorting lines, removing duplicates and trimming stray whitespace. It is the fastest way to clean a list copied out of a spreadsheet, a log or an email before it goes somewhere else.
How to use the Text Utilities
- Paste the text you want to work on.
- Pick the operation: count, sort, dedupe or trim.
- Copy the cleaned result.
Good to know
- Dedupe keeps first occurrences in order, which is what you want for hand-built lists.
- Counts update live, which helps when a field has a strict character limit.
- Sorting lines alphabetically is a quiet superpower for tidying imports, tags and name lists.
